Day 14th - 19th: Missing In Action

Family vacation and 10 visiting relatives put a damper on my picture taking this past week! I'm so incredibly bummed that I'll be missing the HxH! I can't wait to see what you all produce though and I'm dying to know who will be crowned the King/Queen of the 30 (31?) Day Photo Challenge!! Good luck to you all.

Day 13: Painting With Light

I had attempted painting with light for the "Low Key" conest, but couldn't get it right enough to waste 10 credits on it. I figured I'd try again today with the same subject. This isn't perfect, but I quite like it. Hope you do too!

The LED flashlight has a blue tint and the vase is actually a dark royal purple. I adore it. I acquired it from my great-great-grandmother when she passed away. I like it much better greyscale.

Day 12: A Leap of Faith

My husband is always wanting to play with our daughter in the pool and to be quite frank he scares the crap out of her. :) She has just recently started letting him throw her in the water...turns out, she loves it!

Day 11: A Rainbow

They're building a new subdivision near my in-laws. They have the most beautiful park with a pond and several fountains infront.

Day 10: One Love

There is a train graveyard near my home, but it is very hard to access by car. This is as close as we could get this afternoon.

Day 9: She Tried to Wait Up

I got home a little later than planned and my 7 year old was on the couch sound asleep. Poor thing, she wanted to watch a movie with me. My co-worker never did show up to relieve me tonight, I just had to leave and transfer the phones.

Day 8: There's a Storm Blowin' in

Since this one's pretty boring, but the power is flickering so I wanted to get it uploaded, I'll try 'n get another more interesting shot tonight.

Day 7: In the Garden

This is a vine that is growing around my tree in the front yard. I am so proud of it. I have a black thumb so it must be hearty, I have grown it from a potatoe (it's large seed).

Day 5: Shannon in the sandbox

There are a couple of reasons why he looks so engrossed in his work. A) This is maybe the 2nd time in his life he's been in a sandbox and B) He kept looking at me saying "CHEEEESE, mommy", but I wanted him to look busy, so I told him to play. :D
