Day 10: One Love

There is a train graveyard near my home, but it is very hard to access by car. This is as close as we could get this afternoon.

Here is a different section of the same train:

Ya know, I've always wanted to try and photograph graffiti, maybe I will before this is over. Nice work, and I wouldn't be surprised if the same graffiti you see passes my way on the track as it roll through Arizona. :)

Graffiti shots definitely are neat (some of those vandals are really good artists). I love the reveal technique you've used. Very fitting - looks like you spray painted a grafitti picture onto a white background! Very clever.

Oooh, nice grungy subject matter here! Very well spotted and very nicely done!

I love how you did that reveal in the first shot. Awesome. I'll look at graffiti a whole new way now. Keep up the good work girl.

It is funny, isn't it, that graffiti is considered defacement, but can really bring a special beauty to things. I would have a hard time resisting jumping the fence to the train graveyard with my camera. There are undoubtedly hundreds of good shots in there of rusty equipment, weeds growing up, and of course, more graffiti.

there used to be an old prision down the road from me. As soon as they tore down the fences, it became graffiti heaven. The walls would change almost everyday. I miss it and hate it was torn down.

A train graveyard? Wow, that must look cool, creepy but cool. Do you have a shot of the whole graveyard?

What a great technique! And the trains photographed very nicely.

I love Urban Art as I prefer to call it. Even though sometimes they spray on places they really shouldn't. And many times it's also just bad art. But you can find some jewels in unexpected places.
