I had attempted painting with light for the "Low Key" conest, but couldn't get it right enough to waste 10 credits on it. I figured I'd try again today with the same subject. This isn't perfect, but I quite like it. Hope you do too!
The LED flashlight has a blue tint and the vase is actually a dark royal purple. I adore it. I acquired it from my great-great-grandmother when she passed away. I like it much better greyscale.

That is so cool looking! Like liquid silver. I wouldn't even know how to go about doing that kind of shot. I do like it very much. :)
I just got into painting with light. Some interesting effects it can create. Cool how the light is reflecting on the surface of the glossy surface. Great job!
Beautiful, molten look to it! Very nice shot.
I think this is interesting. It is unusual, but kinda cool.
A very interesting shot with repeated and mirrored shapes in the vase and the light trail... Nice idea.
Quoted from Kimbomac: "A very interesting shot with repeated and mirrored shapes in the vase and the light trail... Nice idea."
There was a really weird mirroring on every shot, most more pronounced than this one, it was really weird.
Oh yeah, that is very cool looking! I wonder if that floating light rail is from the light bouncing back into the lens. Very interesting effect.
Fantastic effect. I like it!
Very pretty. I've not yet tried this technique, but I love the effects it produces. This is great!
Awesome! I'm going to try this one day :)
Wow, looks like water and that reflection is superb!
Very nice! Wonderful job on this - I wouldn't know how to do this either, but you pulled it off very well!
What a beautiful shot!
